DISCORD GUIDE.
Discord is the universal platform used for communicating in gaming and esports. Discord allows you to communicate with others over voice, video, and text. This is especially important as esports is very collaborative and networking based. Connecting to discord is the first step in entering the esports gaming world.

How to Create a discord account
Step 1. Go to https://discord.com/ and download the application.
Step 2. Open Discord and click “Register” at the bottom of the sign-in page.
Step 3. Create your account by putting in your email address, the username you want others to see you as, a private password to log in with, and your date of birth.
Step 4. Go to the settings icon at the bottom left of Discord and choose “Privacy & Safety”.
Step 5. From there, select “Keep me safe” and uncheck “Allow direct messages from server members”.
How to Join the Knights Server and Access the Exclusive Content and Roles
Step 1. Have a school admin join the Knight’s discord server https://discord.com/invite/knights
Step 2. A school admin needs to create a support ticket and request a school role. From there, we will be to lead you through the required steps to obtain a school role and custom invite link!
Step 3. We will provide you with a private custom discord invite link. Sharing this with your students will automatically assign them their school role with their schools logo.
Step 4. Your students can go to “Welcome” and pick which resources and channels they would like to see! (Upon school admin request we can automatically give them access to select resources and channels)
Discord expectations and rules
The Knights Discord server is strictly a safe and constructive environment. It is required that each member contributes to maintaining this safe and constructive environment. We have automatic moderation within the server and an additional active moderation team.
